As evening approaches, the Nighttime caplets offer relief from runny noses and sneezing while continuing to address headaches, coughs, and sinus pressure. These caplets include 325 mg of acetaminophen, 5 mg of phenylephrine HCl, and 10 mg of dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant. Additionally, the Nighttime formula contains 2 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate, an antihistamine that helps reduce allergy symptoms and promote restful sleep.

• Use Instructions: The instructions for both the Day and Night versions of Tylenol Cold + Flu Severe Caplets are the same. For adults and children aged 12 and above, the directions are to take 2 caplets every 4 hours, ensuring the caplets are swallowed whole and not crushed, chewed, or dissolved. It's important not to exceed 10 caplets within a 24-hour period. For children below the age of 12, it's recommended to consult a doctor before using this medication. Remember, it's crucial not to take more than the directed amount to avoid overdose. Always refer to the overdose warning provided with the medication.
