Controls Cough

A cough is a reflex that helps get rid of mucus and foreign particles in your airways. When the cough receptors scattered throughout your child's airways are stimulated by irritants or triggered by an accumulation of excess mucus, they send a signal to the cough center in the brain to bring about a cough.

Relieves Chest Congestion

Chest congestion is when the membranes that line your child's airways are irritated and inflamed, resulting in the production of thicker and more abundant mucus. This irritation can be caused by inhaling various particles.

Breaks up Mucus

Mucus comes hand and hand with congestion. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps reduce chest congestion that can be caused by colds. lt works by thinning the mucus in the air passages and makes it easier to cough up.

Use Instructions: Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24-hour period; measure only with dosing cup provided; do not use dosing cup with other products; mL = milliliter Age. Dose children 6 years to under 12 years; 5mL-10mL every 4 hours. Children 4 years to under 6 years 2.5mL; 5mL every 4 hours. Children under 4 years do not use.
